With a tractor, a narrow-gauge and a bus the participants in the INSiGHTS international meeting visited the border areas of Hungary with Croatia and Slovenia.
During the three days in Lenti, Zala County of Hungary they learned about the opportunities for slow, green and healthy tourism in a region that has been long inaccessible for visits even by the Hungarians. This has helped preserve the unique purity of the climate, flora, fauna, and local traditions.
The partners tried local specialties, hot mineral springs. They visited bunkers and shelters that would soon become a tourist attraction.
Participant in the meeting was also the representative of the Joint Secretariat of the Danube Transnational Cooperation Program 2014-2020, who was acquainted with the work done so far under the project during the first year. His satisfaction and positive assessment was our award for good work.
From the Bulgarian side - the representatives of RDA BSC SME (Regional Development Agency with Business Support Centre for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises - Plovdiv), project partner, and District Administration Plovdiv, an associated strategic partner.
