Today,
in Plovdiv Regional Administration, a working meeting was held with Mr. Petar
Petrov, Deputy Regional Governor of Plovdiv, Mr.Velizar Petrov, Executive
Director of of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises - Plovdiv, and Mrs Kristina
Atanasova - Chief expert in the Coordination and European Integration
Department
The
purpose of the meeting was to discuss and identify project proposals for
Plovdiv Region in the field of tourism during the programming period 2021-2027,
funded by European Union programmes and national programmes.
Plovdiv
Region has benefited in this respect, as it has already developed a
"Strategy for integrated and sustainable tourism of Plovdiv Region
2019-2027", adopted by the Regional Council for Development of Plovdiv Region
on March 26, 2019 with Decision № 1, taken with Minutes № 1 / 26.03.2019, and
agreed at a regular meeting of the Regional Council for Development of the
South Central Region, held in Plovdiv on 09.04.2019.
It is
the first and only strategy at the regional / district level in the field of
tourism for the next programming period and Is the result of the long-term
partnership of the Regional Development Agency with the Business Support Centre
for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises - Plovdiv and Plovdiv Regionalt
Administration. The signing of a framework agreement between them was also
considered.
