Project summary:
The vision of the INVEST project is to create a modern single European university that meets the needs and requirements of the new generation of Europeans as leaders in promoting a sustainable way of life in the regions. The coordinator is the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra. In addition to University of Agribusiness and Rural Development , the partner consortium also includes the University of Thessaly, Greece, the University of Applied Sciences Karelia, Finland and the Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands.
As an associate partner, UARD has attracted the Regional Development Agency with a Business Center to support SMEs.
The coordinator of the alliance is the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra through a team from the Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development. The partner consortium includes the Higher School of Agribusiness and Regional Development, the University of Thessaly, Greece, the University of Applied Sciences Karelia, Finland and the Van Hall Lawrenstein University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands.
The project aims to create a European University Alliance called: Innovations for Regional Sustainability: INVEST, aimed at cooperation in the implementation of joint innovative education and curricula, the implementation of multilingual learning based on theoretical training and the acquisition of practical skills, and European mobility (for students, teachers and non-teaching staff).
The aim of INVEST is to create a single university that meets the needs and requirements of the new generation of Europeans as leaders in promoting a sustainable lifestyle in the regions of Europe.
At the end of the project - October 31, 2023, 10 general bachelor's programs, 4 master's and 2 doctoral, language courses and living labs should be created.
