THE TRANSFER OF A BUDGET FROM OPIC TO MEASURES FOR COVID 19 CREATES A PROBLEM FOR ALL INTEREG EUROPE PROJECTS
"The transfer of a budget from the Operational Program Innovation and
Competitiveness to measures for COVID 19 creates a problem for the successful
implementation of all projects financed under the Intereg Europe programme and
the implementation of the Action Plans for Improving Policies and Strategic
Documents" - said Velizar Petrov, Executive Director of RDA BSC SMES (Agency for Regional Development with Business
Center for Support of Small and Medium Enterprises) during the final conference
of the INNOGROW project, funded by the Intereg Europe program. RDA BSC SMES
implements the project STOB Regions Succession and business transfer in the
regions.
The Bulgarian partner in the project is ARID (Agency for Regional and
Economic Development) - Stara Zagora. The project in Bulgaria is aimed at
improving the operational program Innovation and Competitiveness.
During the conference, the achievements and some future aspects of the
Intereg Europe 2021-27 programme were shared by Alexia Bellemin, from the
programme team. She also shared what the programme is doing in relation to COVID
19.
