On October 19, 2022, in the city of Smolyan, the Regional
Development Agency with the Business Support Centre for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
conducted a hybrid training under the PRO-ENERGY project: Promoting energy
efficiency in public buildings on the territory of the Balkans - Mediterranean Territory.
Participants in the training were representatives of the
regional administration of Smolyan region, Smolyan municipality, Zlatograd
municipality, OIC - Smolyan, RIOSV - Smolyan and others.
Mr. Hristo Stanchev, deputy regional governor opened the
training and welcomed the participants.
Engineer-manager Velizar Petrov, executive director of
the the Regional Development Agency with the Business Support Centre for Small
and Medium-sized Enterprises moderator of the event, opened the hybrid
training.
Eng. Alexander Tonkov - Chairman of the Board of the ARR
BC SME, also welcomed the participants.
Mr. Hristo Totev, external lecturer-expert in energy
efficiency presented training modules related to energy efficiency; energy
efficiency of buildings: objectives of the European Union, energy control,
energy efficiency measures; energy saving; energy behavior for energy saving in
public buildings.
The participants had the opportunity to familiarize
themselves with the training materials, as well as to find answers to many of
their questions. The training was also an opportunity to generate many future
ideas related to energy efficiency in public buildings.
