The Regional
Development Agency with the Business Support Centre for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise
held a hybrid conference (online and offline) under the PRO-ENERGY project:
Promoting energy efficiency in public buildings on the territory of the Balkans
- Mediterranean Territory.
It was held on
October 19, 2022 in the Regional Administration in the town of Smolyan.
Participants in
the conference were representatives of the regional administration of Smolyan
region, Smcholyan municipality, Zlatograd municipality, OIC - Smolyan, RIOSV -
Smolyan and others
Mr. Hristo
Stanchev, deputy regional governor opened the conference and welcomed the
participants.
Engineer-manager
Velizar Petrov, executive director of the Regional Development Agency with the
Business Support Centre for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise, moderator of the
event, opened and briefly presented the project itself and what was
achieved by it.
Eng. Alexander
Tonkov - Chairman of the Board of the ARR BSC SME, also welcomed the participants.
Mr. Petrov
presented the project, its goals and activities, the pilot building in Bulgaria
under the project - the building of UAR\D - University of
Agribusiness and Rural development - honorary member of ARR BSC SME. The
building was inspected and measures to improve energy efficiency were
prescribed. It was certified and equipped with special smart sensors connected
to an internet-based platform that includes the pilot buildings of all project
partners
