On November 21, 2024, a multiplication event was held in Plovdiv under
the SMARTOUR: Smart Tourism Skills project, funded under the ERASMUS + program.
Over 40 representatives of adult education organizations and other interested
parties from Bulgaria and guests from Moldova participated.

Development Agency with the Business Support Center for Small and Medium-sized
Enterprises, presented the project and its products—an electronic training
course, training modules, and videos developed in Bulgarian and other partners'
languages.
The Smart Tourism Skills (SMARTOUR) project is an adult education project
focused on the concept of smart tourism solutions. It is designed to meet the
needs of creating smart tourism solutions in European cities by and for tourism
entrepreneurs. Here, smart tourism is understood as a concept that actively
connects tourist sites (natural monuments, historical monuments, cities, towns,
etc.) with best practices in areas such as accessibility, sustainability,
digitalization, cultural heritage and creativity, collaboration, and marketing.
