The next week (6-9 March 2018) in Lenti (Hungary) will be held the 3rd International Wolkshop, the 5th Thematic Meeting and the 3rd INSiGHTS Project Management Meeting. This is the first meeting of the partners this year after the two reporting periods successfully completed and approved.

Lenti – the town has been chosen as the place of the multilateral walkshop, since it is the centre of the less-developed part of Zala county, that has favourable conditions for slow, healthy and green tourism.

Lenti is located in the south-western corner of Hungary, next to the border of Slovenia and Croatia, near the border of Austria, at the meeting point of three ethnographic regions called “Őrség, Göcsej and Hetés”. Due to the near borders this area was partly closed and not industrialized after the second world war, therefore the town was able to preserve its traditions and gastronomy, which can be used as advantages in tourism development now. In addition, the untouched forests and natural sights of the region the town offers medicinal water for treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, beneficial effects of St. George energy lines, good opportunities for cycling, riding and walking.

During the walkshop the partners can get familiar with the tourism of the region, including its traditions and gastronomy.

Master classes, training visits, as well as a review of what has been done by the project are scheduled to take place during the meetings.
