On November 15,
2018 at the University of Food Technologies - Plovdiv (UHT) at a regional
meeting with stakeholder representatives under the project INSiGHTS, the general concept of slow, green
and healthy tourism was presented.
The event was
attended by Prof. Dr. Kolyo Dinkov - Rector of UFT, Prof. Dr. Alexieva
- Deputy Rector and Head of Department of Nutrition and Tourism at UFT, Assoc.
Prof. Atanaska Teneva - Dean of Economics Faculty of UFT, Eng.
Ljubozar Fratev - Chairman of the Tourism Council - Plovdiv, Engineer-manager
Velizar Petrov - Executive Director of ARP BC SME (Regional Development Agency
with Business Support Center for Small and Medium Enterprises - Plovdiv),
Videlina Gandeva - Executive Director of Orpheus Club Wellness - Plovdiv, Vaska
Stoyanova - Director of Omega College, distinguished tourism professors of
Univesities, representatives of education and tourism business.
It was the
beginning and preliminary talks for a partnership between the Executive
Director of APP BC SMEs Velizar Petrov and Orpheus Club Wellness within INSiGHTS
project - "Integrated strategies to slow, green and healthy tourism."
A discussion
was held on the topic, which continued later in informal talks during a
cocktail organized.
