On 07.06.2024, the last partnership meeting on the Smart Tourism Skills
(SMARTOUR) project was held in the city of Linz, Austria. The Bulgarian partner
in the project is the Regional Development Agency with a Business Support
Center for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (RDA BSC SME).
The focus of the partnership meeting was the status of PR2 - Development
of training course materials, as well as the tasks that must be successfully
completed by the end of the project.
To date, there are already developed in English training modules with
accompanying videos on the SMARTOUR e-learning course, covering topics such as
accessibility, sustainability, digitalization, cultural heritage and
creativity, cooperation, and marketing in smart tourism. Smart (intelligent)
tourism not only provides information to tourists, but also includes all
services for them. It is the connectivity and mobility of tourists, moving them
from one attraction to another, creating memorable experiences for them in the
relevant place.
Hard work is ahead to translate all training materials into the national
languages of the project partners.
In each of the countries there will also be multiplication events that
will present the final results to a wider audience - representatives of the
interested groups involved in adult education.
Duration of the project is 24 months.
